SQ-lab Pedals 5OX
Why plastic - why not? The high-quality 5OX plastic pedal is in no way inferior to the same aluminum version in terms of weight and durability. The material can give way in hard contact with stones and rocks, for example, and in our tests it usually withstood more than the aluminum version. For this reason, we use plastic and do not use an aluminum version. The bearings are important to us here - we have installed the best and most durable bearings.
The three different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. Suitable for larger feet, a V-shaped foot position or larger sit bone distances, which usually require a higher Q factor.
The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface enables an ergonomic stand on the pedal and at the same time creates enormous grip. In order to create a maximum tread surface, it sits flush with the pedal axle. This means that there is no annoying elevation of the pedal surface on the inside of the foot, as is the case with many other flat pedals.
