Diamant produces its bicycles and e-bikes in Hartmannsdorf near Chemnitz, Germany. Between 1,500 and 2,000 bicycles are manufactured there every day for various brands of the Trek Bicycle Corporation. Assembly takes place in the main factory in Hartmannsdorf, with the frames and components being manufactured by partners. This factory is Trek's only own bicycle factory in the world.

According to legend, the iconic Diamant logo was created in 1911, when the young company put together its first racing team of professional riders. The initiator of this racing team was Albrecht Spremberg, then sales manager at Diamant. His striking face became the template for the brand's first logo and shaped the image of Diamant wheels.

Why him and not the founders, the Nevoigt brothers? And how did this head so quickly become the trademark of all Diamant wheels? The exact reasons for this are hardly documented.
