Wir nehmen uns mit diesem Pedal einem Thema an, welches uns immer wichtiger geworden ist - der Ergonomie von Kinderfahrrädern!
Diesem Thema wird unserer Ansicht nach von der Fahrradindustrie viel zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt! Sei es beim Q-Faktor der Kinderräder, also dem Abstand der Füße zueinander, oder die für Kinderfüße viel zu große Plattform der Pedale!
Diese beiden Faktoren rückten bei der Entwicklung des Youngstar Pedals in den Fokus! Die verkürzte Pedalachse ermöglicht einen deutlich geringeren Q-Faktor, wodurch die X-Stellung der Beine minimiert wird. Dies erleichtert den Kleinen das Pedalieren erheblich und führt zu einem deutlich "runderen" Tritt!
Durch das ergonomische Verhältnis der Auflagefläche zu den Kinderschuhen wird das "flippen" der Pedale ausgeschlossen. Stellen Sie sich einmal vor, Sie müssten auf einem Pedal von der Größe eines DIN-A4-Blattes stehen. Ein unweigerliches Abkippen nach vorne oder nach hinten wäre die Folge, da Sie niemals sicher und mittig auf einem solchen Pedal stehen könnten!
Wie bei uns üblich, werden natürlich auch diese Produkte von uns getestet! In diesem Fall von den Kindern unserer Mitarbeiter und im familiären Umfeld. Mit einem Gewicht von nur 229 g ist dieses Pedalpaar aus Aluminium mit CrMo-Achse für jedes Kind eine echte Bereicherung!
