The new Silky Suspension Serum is designed to make suspension run smoother than butter. This silicon-based wonder formula reduces friction between the wipers and the stanchions, keeping everything lubricated for improved small bump sensitivity and tracking. The anodized coatings on the stanchions can be porous. This means there are many tiny crevices where dirt and debris can collect, which if not properly maintained will turn into an abrasive, high-wear paste. The upper tubes also cannot be replaced independently as they are pressed and bonded to the fork crown. The silicone-infused formula can help fill these tiny crevices and create a friction-reducing coating that protects the stanchions and helps repel contaminants.
