ION Pads K-Pact Zip
The K-Pact Zip is the evolution of the popular and award-winning K-Pact: The protector itself is sewn from Super_Perforator_Neoprene, which allows for excellent ventilation and a tight fit. In terms of protection, the K-Pact Zip uses the tried-and-tested SAS-TEC pad, certified to EN 1621, Level 2. In this combination, the K-Pact Zip meets the highest demands on a knee pad for almost every bike discipline - except cross-country, of course. The protector opens completely via the Quick_E zipper and can be put on and taken off comfortably without having to take off your shoes. This makes the K-Pact Zip even suitable as a protector for extended tours with long climbs where you can do the treatment.
- SAS-TEC padding: SAS-TEC is an innovative, German manufacturer of particularly high-quality protectors. The company has a long history in the field of motorcycle protective equipment - and is our first choice when it comes to reliable safety. In our protectors, we therefore often use three-dimensionally shaped protection pads made of a viscoelastic foam with exceptionally high absorption properties.
- Super_Perforator_Neoprene: Very flexible, particularly robust and above all very breathable neoprene. Of course, it cannot be compared with mesh material, but in terms of neoprene, it is the most breathable material we currently use.
- Quick_E zipper: Thanks to the side zipper, the protector can be opened completely. Less time putting it on means more time for riding.
- Power_Aramid upper material on kneecap: Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber that was originally developed by DuPont. It is now used in a wide variety of applications, e.g. in bulletproof helmets, tires and bowstrings. The material offers outstanding qualities in terms of tear and abrasion resistance. And is therefore perfect for protectors.
- Lightweight EVA side padding: Closed-cell foam provides lightweight and flexible protection where you need it.
- Air_Prene: Neoprene is quite versatile: it even absorbs the impact energy in a fall to a certain extent. The lightweight Airprene_Padding is perforated for better air permeability to prevent overheating underneath.
