If you want to really let it rip on downhill or in the bike park, this rim is a good basis for a durable wheel and also has an excellent price-performance ratio. During development, particular attention was paid to stability. The angular profile can absorb heavy impacts and can easily survive a bad fall. Nevertheless, the weight is within an acceptable range. In addition, the enormous inner width gives the tire perfect support, which prevents it from bending in fast corners and ensures greater driving stability. The rim ends are connected to one another using the sleeve joint process. A molded part is pressed evenly into both ends of the rim profile and the rim is put together. The holes for the spokes have been reinforced with eyelets to prevent them from being torn out. This also increases functionality. The high-quality workmanship typical of DT Swiss guarantees the rim a long service life. In addition, the shot-blasted surface largely prevents stone chips, so that it looks as good as new even after many descents.
