With the Reaction 240 SL, we deliberately pursue a minimalist approach - in favor of performance. This approach is reflected on the one hand in the thinner handlebars with thinner grips and on the other hand in the light, stiff carbon fork. The result is a light, fast, agile and safe set-up for young mountain bike racers. We have also installed a Microshift gearshift that switches back and forth between the 10 gears precisely and easily. Lightweight, powerful V-brakes ensure reliable braking maneuvers and therefore full control over the bike and its speed. Lively handling, with which the kids can gain a lot of self-confidence and hone their skills, goes without saying. Ready, set, go!

At CUBE we put a lot of effort into developing our products, which is why the Reaction 240 SL frame is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube sets as our performance adult models. And we adjusted their shape for the optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio using the same mechanical forming process. Another highlight is the replaceable derailleur hanger, which means you don't have to have the entire frame repaired at once after a small fall. And if you want even more grip, comfort and safety, you can also equip the chassis with wider tires.
