When developing the robust, lightweight and perfectly proportioned all-terrain bike, we took our adult bikes as a model. Its V-brakes on the front and rear wheels - with levers specially designed for children's hands - are easy to use and enable perfectly controlled braking and stopping. The chain disappears safely under the chain guard. And the Schwalbe tires roll along just as efficiently as those on mom or dad's bike.
Handling is where fun meets safety: Like all our bikes, the Numove 180 has passed all of our rigorous safety tests with flying colors. Children may be small, but their riding style can sometimes be very tough on a bike. That's why we took the same care in developing the Numove 180's frame and fork as we do with our adult models.
Tube sets made of light but strong 6061 aluminum create a structure with super easy handling. And one that is so robust that it can easily withstand even over-motivated maneuvers - and their sometimes uncomfortable consequences. All of these details result in a genuine kids' bike with everything that young riders need. No more, but also no less.
