Cube AMS ZERO99 C:68X Race silver'n'black 2023
The most important requirements for maximum speed? Clearly: low weight, comfort and efficiency. The AMS ZERO99 C:68X 29 frame can speak for itself here. It is made from our highest quality carbon material and weighs just 1600 g. However, low weight is only half the battle. Thanks to short chainstays with plenty of space for 2.25 inch wide tires, the rear wheel is directly under the rider, which optimizes power transmission and converts the power used into dynamics and forward thrust.
And the slim tube sets mean that the chassis rides comfortably rather than rough. The integrated bearing shells for angle adjustment allow the head tube angle to be finely adjusted. 100 mm of suspension travel on the front and rear wheels, combined with a geometry designed for agility and speed, contribute to the performance. In short: the competition has practically no chance against this speed machine!

Der Carbonrahmen ist auf dem Bild echt 'schlecht' getroffen. In 'Natura' sieht der Rahmenwesentlich besser aus.
Was mich ein wenig störte (ist wohl eher subjektiv) war der Aufkleber von liquid-life und die schwer zu bedienende Schalthebel. Aber vielleicht lag es auch nur daran, weil ich nicht gut 'gefrühstückt' hatte.
Das MTB ist einzigartig leicht (lt. meiner rudimentären Kofferwaage sogar unter 10 KG - OHNE Pedale).

Abschließend mußte ich doch das bike zurücksenden, weil ich wohl doch ein SUPER-light-MTB mit einem mini-Motor kaufen werde.
Um dann dafür nochmals 2 oder 3000€ mehr auszugeben :-(
Das muss gut überlegt sein.
Und - in dem Segment gibt es nicht viele bikes :-(

zu den Komponenten:
Edelste Shimano XT - Bremsen / Schaltung - 'giftige' Scheibenbremsen und auch die Dämpfer tun ihren Dienst. Wobei mir ein vorderer wohl gereicht hätte.-
Bereifung natürlich von SCHWALBE (die Top-Reifen für vorn/hinten selektiv ausgewählt - TOP).

Mit dem Standard-Sattel von cube komme ich, wie üblich, auch zurecht - und Lenker auch einwandfrei.
Klar - dass ich, hätte ich das MTB behalten, noch auf ergonomische Griffe gewechselt (da hat ja jeder seine eigenen 'Vorstellungen')
