It revolutionized the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance. Around 30% more grip and 26% better rolling resistance compared to the silica mixture ensure more performance and safety.

Vectran Breaker
- Vectran is a synthetically produced high-tech fiber based on nature. Like spider silk, Vectran is a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multi-fiber yarn. Both spider silk and Vectran have enormous tear resistance and are extremely lightweight. The advantages of the Vectran breaker are greater puncture resistance and lower weight. Vectran is more cut-resistant than aramid, 5x stronger than steel and lighter than nylon thread, without affecting rolling resistance. It therefore offers the ideal protective layer for the tire. Vectran was developed for airbag systems in the automotive and aerospace industries.
