• THE TRAIL BENCHMARK: When we set out to design the Stumpjumper, we had some juicy goals in mind. We wanted it to be the lightest bike possible, but without sacrificing durability. We wanted a rigid chassis that pulled around corners like it was on rails and a geometry that everyone could enjoy. All of this coupled with the best chassis kinematics that we know how to design.
• 130MM OF SPRING TRAVEL THAT TAMPES THE TRAIL: Even the largest suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why we put them at the forefront when developing the Stumpjumper design. Using lessons learned from Enduro suspension design and more than 1,000 hours of development on the trail and in the suspension lab, we have significantly improved uphill pedaling performance while creating a powerful, efficient and lively bike that every biker craves. In addition, the anti-squat behavior has been increased so that the chassis resists rocking better. Angular obstacles are now swallowed better, meaning less speed is lost. Conclusion? The Stumpjumper rocks every trail downhill in a controlled manner and still climbs every climb with ease.
