The down tube of the aluminum frame has been reinforced at both ends and the attractive luggage rack (with wooden support) has been welded firmly to the frame. The total weight of a good 8 kg remains nice and moderate.
Child-friendly details such as the non-slip handles and the conscious decision not to use a heavy and complex gear system are impressive. And the absolute highlight is the Chainlooper chain guard from the Bielefeld bike parts experts at Hebie.
