Magura MT5, 2-finger aluminum lightweight lever
The proven 4-piston technology from motorcycle racing, adapted for use on bikes, promises maximum braking power. Our 4-piston technology combined with brand new ergonomics of the brake lever result in a performance package with which you can confidently tackle any terrain, no matter how difficult, with infinite composure. The MT5 is also perfect for S-Pedelecs. The two-finger brake levers made of aluminum fit ergonomically in the hand and enable simple and precise dosage of braking power even during long braking processes. The use of Carbotecture® technology in the brake handle housing helps the MT5 to be light and offer top braking performance.
Magura has also made the MT5 easy to handle. The lever width of the ergonomic 2-finger brake lever can be adjusted on the lever. The brake pistons are magnetic to make changing the pads easy, thus guaranteeing that the brake pads fit perfectly.
The revised Storm Rotor ensures optimal heat dissipation. Compared to its predecessor, it is 10% lighter and has an optimized friction area. This increases braking performance with lower wear values.
