The Kathmandu Pro has everything you need and comes without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Included are the revised integrated luggage rack, long mudguards, front and rear lights and the CUBE FM side stand. The bike is not only a great companion for everyday life, but also proves its quality on long journeys thanks to its robust construction. Comfortable: the Suntour air suspension fork, which absorbs all the impacts from bumps or potholes on the route like nothing else. The wide-ranging, super-reliable Shimano 3x10-speed gears make every route a pleasure. Matching hydraulic Shimano disc brakes slow the bike safely and confidently, in any weather and even when fully loaded. Whether in the urban jungle or the outback – the Kathmandu Pro is there live!
The Kathmandu frame combines all the highlights typical of the series, but adds something more. For example, the revised integrated luggage rack IC 3.0 merges seamlessly and elegantly into our acid mudguards. There is also a mount for a flat mount disc brake and a side stand on the rear wheel. The chassis owes its clean, tidy look to the pipe connections welded using the smooth welding process. So much for optics. In terms of function, we equipped the rear triangle with a thru-axle and opted for a fitted head tube for optimized stability and steering precision (even when fully loaded). And thanks to internal cables, the bike changes gears smoothly and the gears hardly need any maintenance. We've thought of everything - just the toothbrush, which you'll probably have to pack yourself.
