With a two-wheeler it's easier and quicker to get through city traffic, no question about it. With a two-wheeler like our Hyde, for example, a simple and robust city all-rounder that is based on our 29 inch mountain bikes. Its Schwalbe tires roll extremely smoothly and quickly through the urban jungle and can be stopped reliably, safely and directly by the powerful hydraulic Shimano disc brakes, regardless of the weather. The stiff, yet very light fork promises maximum steering precision. And with the smooth-running, wide-ranging Shimano 3x9-speed gears, every city tour becomes a relaxed walk.
It was not without reason that the bicycle couriers of the 80s and 90s traveled around the city on mountain bikes - so when we developed the Hyde we also based ourselves on our 29er hardtails. Double-butted aluminum tube sets form a stable, durable, light and agile frame structure, which allows individual retrofitting with luggage racks and mudguards thanks to seamlessly integrated mounting points. It also offers enough space for two water bottle holders - so you are always optimally hydrated, especially on longer tours through the city. Finally, a slim, stiff fork completes the frame, its specialty: crisp, precise steering behavior in combination with little weight and an elegant look.
