Kids love racing - and with the Elite C:62 SLX Rookie they can fully live out their passion for racing and turn it into maximum speed! It's made from the same C:62® carbon material as our adult racing models and has exactly the same features as our athletes' World Cup bikes. Its Manitou Markhor suspension fork takes the lower weight of young riders into account and therefore delivers top-tuned performance. The wide-ranging SX Eagle 12-speed gearshift from Sram changes from gear to gear with great precision. And the snappy hydraulic Magura MT Thirty disc brakes bring the bike to a safe stop at the finish. Last, but not least, we put grippy tires with ultra-light Schwalbe Aerothan tubes on the Newmen Evolution wheels.

That's why we tuned the Elite C:62 SLX Rookie frame for absolute top speeds - and designed it with the same attention to detail as our adult models. It is made of the same C:62® Carbon. Thanks to 12 mm thru-axles on the rear wheel and a butted head tube, the chassis moves quickly and precisely, even under maximum load. And because comfort shouldn't be neglected even on tough race tracks, we've given it slim seat stays. And: The shift and brake cables run inside the frame, which keeps maintenance costs low and ensures quick, consistently precise gear changes. Because every second counts when racing!
