You can't fool children for long - one day they will want to have a bike just like mom and dad. With the Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie SLX, this goal is within reach. We have installed the same Bosch motor and battery as on many of our adult e-mountain bikes. This means: a lot of forward thrust and therefore always enough power reserves, even on longer and more strenuous tours with the family. The Suntour air suspension fork can be easily adjusted to suit smaller, lighter bikers. In addition, small hands can grip the thinner handlebars with the thinner grips comfortably and safely. Last, but not least: the reliable, wide-ranging 10-speed gears from Shimano as well as powerful hydraulic disc brakes for controlled deceleration and stopping, even when riding in an overly motivated manner. Just sit up and go!
When developing their high-quality drive systems, Bosch engineers probably didn't have a children's bike in mind. But that didn't stop us from skilfully integrating such a system into our perfectly proportioned Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie frame. This e-bike chassis for youngsters hits the trails with the same design and technologies as our adult e-mountain bikes. This guarantees a lot of driving fun and a high level of safety at the same time! We have moved the trains neatly inside, which significantly reduces maintenance costs. There are also mounting points for a CUBE side stand.
