Alpina Pikes Mips
Steeper and faster. Because it's fun. And it's enjoyable. But sometimes, and inevitably, it leads to falls. Then you need full protection. And that's what a full-face helmet offers. The Pikes is such a helmet. A helmet that's made for everyone who likes downhill riding. And doesn't want to do without safety, style and comfort.
One look at the Pikes is enough. It is: consistent. Straightforward, fast and radical. The downhill helmet also impresses with hard facts. In size M it weighs less than a kilogram and is therefore one of the lightest full shell helmets. In addition to the CE certification, the Pikes is ASTM tested and has a DD closure. The helmet is therefore ready to go for the bike park.
The Mips safety feature is also installed, which is designed to minimize rotational forces that occur in the event of a fall. Large ventilation openings and an odor-inhibiting interior ensure comfort on the trail. Cheek pads are available in three sizes to ensure the Pikes fits perfectly. The helmet is supplied with 30 mm thick pads, and these are available as accessories in 15 mm and 40 mm.
