Alpina Carapax 2.0
The Carapax 2.0 from Alpina is at home on the trails. With the revised version of the successful model, you always make the right choice off-road. Whether uphill or downhill. It is an all-rounder in the off-road sector and is one of the lightest enduro models on the market. The Run System Ergo Flex ensures maximum comfort and safety. The adjustment system impresses with its delicate construction and fixes the helmet evenly on the head over a 360-degree circumference. A bicycle helmet cannot be adjusted in a more individual, smoother and more comfortable way.
Another plus for comfort: the removable padding. This always makes wearing the helmet comfortable - no matter how hot it gets in the field. The low weight of the Carapax 2.0 is due to the in-mold manufacturing process, in which the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS.
This creates a solid surface connection, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by the additional Edge Protect polycarbonate shell. Thanks to the Seamless Connection, it fits seamlessly to the upper shell.
For the highest possible safety on rough trails, the rear and temples are pulled further down. This creates even greater head coverage. Large ventilation openings allow for optimal ventilation, fly screens keep insects away from the head, and the height-adjustable visor guarantees optimal protection in the field of vision.
