FOCUS has revised the E-MTB models SAM², JAM² and THRON² with Bosch motor to adapt them perfectly to the current requirements of E-MTBs.

The new FOCUS E-MTBs build on the strengths of the previous models and eliminate their weaknesses. The removable battery remains, but a robust battery cover on the down tube makes removal much easier. This also enables a new positioning of the drive unit - the low center of gravity remains without the bike looking bulky. The design has also been visually revised: the semi-integrated damper, a two-tone paintwork with a color gradient and the painted damper linkage ensure a refined appearance. The FOCUS logo now adorns the down tube in a subtle and high-quality style.

With the precisely ground welds on the head tube and the semi-integrated shock mount, the JAM² and its sister models could easily be confused with carbon bikes.
Focus Jam² battery options
FOCUS has developed the frames of the new E-MTBs with two key goals in mind: a lightweight look and particularly agile trail handling. That's why the compact 600 Wh battery combined with a slim silhouette was chosen as the main design. The battery can be removed from the down tube by tilting it instead of sliding it out. For riders who need more battery capacity, the frames are also suitable for the larger 800 Wh battery - by replacing the down tube cover. This flexibility makes it possible to swap the batteries between all new FOCUS E-MTB models, so you can offer your customers exactly what they need.
In addition, all frames, regardless of size, are compatible with the 250 Wh range extender, allowing four possible battery configurations from 600 up to an impressive 1050 Wh.
