THE NEW SRAM AXS GROUPSET
A drive group like no other! Next generation drive train
The new SRAM Eagle AXS drivetrain is now called Eagle Transmission or T-Type and is a state-of-the-art and innovative electronic drivetrain.
The new Eagle Transmission is available in three variants: XO, XX and XX SL. The SL stands for super light. With the new release from SRAM we get new cassettes, rear derailleurs, crank arms, chains, AXS controllers and integrated power measurement.

STABILITY, PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE
The new Eagle Transmission was developed with this mindset. Due to the direct installation between the UDH compatible frame and the axle, the derailleur hanger is no longer a source of error and you can even stand on the rear derailleur without anything happening.
No more annoying adjustment screws. The Eagle Transmission is very easy to install. The B-Gap or the distance between the rear derailleur and the cassette is adjusted by a unique adjustment position of the rear derailleur in combination with the chain length. To do this, simply check your chainring size and your chainstay length and enter them in the SRAM AXS app and you will get the perfect length for your bike. For all full suspension bikes you use setting position B on the rear derailleur, for hardtails or high pivot bikes you use setting position A .
Finally, you can easily fine-tune using the app.

Shifting uphill under full load and without a guilty conscience?
It's been a dream for a long time but with the new SRAM Eagle Transmission on the agenda, but how did SRAM manage it?
Thanks to a new cassette mapping, i.e. a new design and a new gradation of the cassette, the chain now has contact with at least three teeth at the same time at the beginning of the shifting process instead of just one. The new flattop chain with the thicker rollers also helps to complete the shifting process as smoothly as possible. The rear derailleur shifts quickly and the new, reversible controller pod can be individually adjusted, as we know and love from SRAM AXS.


DRIVING IS THE PRIORITY
So that you don't have any problems with the new Eagle Transmission, there is a wide range of spare parts. With just a few simple steps you can now replace the following components if necessary.
The attachment, the skid plate, the complete lower link including pulleys, the upper link, the magic pulley and the inline cage.
A great deal of emphasis is placed on longevity and sustainability here, which we really like. Of course, all spare parts are compatible with each other, so you can build an XX SL cage on an XO rear derailleur, etc.
Two separately mountable bash guards ensure a protected chainring. These are attached directly to the chainring.
In conclusion, all you can really say is that SRAM has created a next-gen drive with the new Eagle Transmission AXS system that really sets new standards.
