Guido Tschugg on Husqvarna Bicycles – insiders from the scene have been expecting this news for a while, now it’s official . At his own request, the Allgäu native switched to the newly founded eMobility brand of the Lower Franconian PEXCO GmbH. For the first time, Guido Tschugg combines the best of his two favorite sports: riding e-bikes and enduro/motocross machines. But the commitment goes even further: he will support the Husqvarna brand not only as an athlete, but also as a consultant. His many years of experience in the professional racing circuit , track construction and design will play an important role in the future collaboration.

“ Having Guido in our team is a real asset,” say Susanne and Felix Puello, the two managing directors of PEXCO GmbH. “He will support the Husqvarna brand in very different areas. In addition to taking part in competitions and classic content production, he will be available to us in the areas of product development and prototype testing . “

“ For me, being involved with Husqvarna is a dream come true – for the first time in my career I can fully live out both my passion for eBike and enduro/motocross riding with a sponsor ,” explains the athlete himself. Since childhood Speed had a tremendous fascination for him. He achieved podium finishes on 4Cross, freeride and downhill bikes . He was the only German to take part in the “Red Bull Rampage”, probably the world’s toughest mountain bike freeride event , twice. Last year he confidently won the title in the Masters class (over 40) at the Downhill World Championships in Andorra . The fact that Guido Tschugg will attack Husqvarna in 2018 is a logical step in his development.
