With the new Madone 9, Trek presents an affordable racing bike that is intended to appeal to a larger target group. This ultra-lightweight road bike is known for being the fastest aero bike, ideal for rides and long training sessions. 600 OCLV (Optimum Compaction, Low Void) carbon is market leading, combines stiffness and lightweight and is therefore exactly right for you.
Even on gravel sections, this racing bike doesn't stop and carries you well and safely over unfamiliar surfaces. With its extremely light overall weight, it is hardly possible to save any more weight. This is made possible by the KVF (Kammtail Virtual Foil) tube shape of the frame and fork. Once you get to the fork, you'll find the next feature, the Vector Wings, which hides the brake and cable almost completely in the frame. This then ensures even more aerodynamics and therefore more speed.
Thanks to the revolutionary IsoSpeed technology, which creates a perfect balance between stiffness and compliance, the seat tube is “decoupled” from the frame and made mobile, allowing it to react more flexibly to unevenness in the road. Only a few millimeters difference to its predecessor H1 make the H2 a completely new geometry, which ensures even more speed on the Madone 9 . With the correct adjustment of the handlebar and saddle height, the H2 geometry gives you a boost in power and performance.
As usual, all cables on the Trek Madone 9 2018 are installed inside, which ensures a clear and tidy look. The stem also includes a pleasant surprise feature, Blendr compatibility. Finally a holder on the handlebars where you can mount your on-board computer , GoPro, smartphone holder or similar! Simple and classy in design.
Would you like to design your bike individually? No problem. With Project One, Trek's custom bike design program, no eye will stay dry. It is worth mentioning the various awards this bike has received. For example, there is the Road.cc Award for Superbike of the Year, or the VeloNews Award for Bike Design of the Year.
